Odense is one of the easier and cheaper student cities in Denmark to find a place, with student rooms averaging around 3,800 kr a month, well below Copenhagen and Aarhus. Most students rent a room in a shared flat, a kollegium (student residence) or a small studio. Start early, sign up to the dormitory waiting lists at studiebolig-odense.dk as soon as you are admitted, and always register your address at the kommune (you need a CPR number for almost everything here).
